Ashley National Forest Travel/Recreation Management Plan
(discussed in more detail on our Issues page).
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
First, sign up for our email list. We'll update you when there are deadline changes, new events, meetings and other developments. We promise not to email you more than twice a month (with our newsletter and an extra update) unless there is an emergency.
Second, write to the Forest Service about your opinions and experiences on the Forest. We've put a few links to maps and other documents on our issues page soon, but in the meantime you can go straight to the Ashley's Travel Plan page.
The Forest is currently accepting official public comments on their plan. UMC is organizing locals to submit their opinions of the draft Plan as well as any experiences in the Ashley NF that are relevant to recreation and roads planning.
